OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Applied Healthcare Nursing Division, Inc. d/b/a Doctor’s Choice Home Care, reported that it was notified by its business associate (BA), Wellsky Corporation, that the BA experienced a breach involving access to its network by an unauthorized threat actor. According to the breach report, the breach affected approximately 14,333 individuals. Protected health information (PHI) involved clinical, demographic, and other information. The CE notified HHS, the media, and the affected individuals. OCR provided technical assistance to the CE regarding the HIPAA Rules.
