CVE-2026-3121Keycloak: org.keycloak/keycloak-services: keycloak: privilege escalation via manage-clients permission

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat build of Keycloak 26.4 and 6 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A flaw was found in Keycloak. An administrator with `manage-clients` permission can exploit a misconfiguration where this permission is equivalent to `manage-permissions`. This allows the administrator to escalate privileges and gain control over roles, users, or other administrative functions within the realm. This privilege escalation can occur when admin permissions are enabled at the realm level.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
