CVE-2026-40939DSF: Missing Session Timeout for OIDC Sessions

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects datasharingframework dsf and 3 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

The Data Sharing Framework (DSF) implements a distributed process engine based on the BPMN 2.0 and FHIR R4 standards. Prior to 2.1.0, OIDC-authenticated sessions had no configured maximum inactivity timeout. Sessions persisted indefinitely after login, even after the OIDC access token expired. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.0.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
