CVE-2026-5142Foreman: foreman: cross-tenant private ssh key disclosure via taxonomy scoping bypass

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Satellite 6.16 for RHEL 8 and 4 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A flaw was found in foreman. Authenticated users with 'view_keypairs' permission can bypass taxonomy scoping, allowing them to download private SSH (Secure Shell) keys from other organizations by directly querying key pair IDs. This vulnerability leads to cross-tenant data exposure in multi-tenant deployments, potentially compromising sensitive information.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
